On Monday, October 13th, 2025, an unforgettable experiential activity took place in the heart of Pissouri villageβ€”recently awarded "Best Tourism Village 2024" by UNWTO. Young participants embarked on a fun and educational journey, discovering the village's rich culture, sustainable businesses, scenic viewpoints, and warm hospitality through a series of interactive challenges. From meeting local shop owners and uncovering historic landmarks to capturing creative photos and interviewing locals, this treasure hunt-style event blended learning with adventure, celebrating the beauty and eco-conscious spirit of Pissouri. The day culminated in a joyful gathering at Platea tavern for dinner and reflection on a day full of exploration, connection, and community pride.

Pissouri, a charming village in Cyprus, has been honored with the "Best Tourism Villages 2024" award by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). This accolade recognizes Pissouri's dedication to sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
